Mother-Ease Sandy's Fitted Review and Giveaway

Mother-ease Cloth Diapers allowed me the opportunity to review their Sandy's fitted diaper. Here is a little bit about the diaper from their site:

"Our Sandy’s™ cloth diapers come in two main sizes: small for 8-20 lbs, and large for 20-35 lbs. We also offer Newborn and Toddle-ease cloth diapers which offer a custom fit for newborns and a larger cloth diaper for toddlers.

These cloth diapers are made from our same soft stretchy terry cloth using the same quality of workmanship, but they have an extra layer of absorbent terry sewn to the inside of the diaper. The fit of this cloth diaper is slightly roomier. Elastic at the waist front and back as well as the leg openings, together with the snap closures at the sides create a clean pant-like look. A serged edge finishes the diaper. Our large Sandy’s™ cloth diaper is one of the most absorbent cloth diapers ever, and holds 15 oz. When used together with our Sandy’s™ Diaper Liners it makes an extravagant nighttime cloth diaper."

Here is the Sandy's fitted that I received. They also offer these in a variety of bright fun colors. (sorry about the 'wash me' sticker on the front of the diaper),
This fitted diaper is side snapping. I am still getting used to side snapping items. I use to be completely uninterested in them. I just thought that when a side snapping diaper was on a baby it just kind of looked funny. But I don't really think that any more. The side snaps actually help make the diaper a little more trim in the front because you don't have the huge pile of snaps or velcro in the middle. Anyways...The Sandy's has side snaps and there are two rows on each side.
I really like that there is an extra doubler that comes with this diaper. You don't have to use it but I think I always do. This fitted doubler, unlike all the other fitted I have that come with doublers, does NOT snap onto the diaper. This is nice because you don't have the snap hanging open if you choose not to use the doubler. I honestly haven't had any issues with the doubler moving around inside the diaper while its in use. I think that is the main reason while most doublers for fitteds are either sewn in or come with snaps is because they might move out of place or bunch up in one end.
The elastic across the front of the diaper is nice and stretchy. This is great for when your pulling the front of the diaper over to the sides to snap it on your baby. The picture below is of the Sandy's fitted on my 2 year old. The rise was just right for him. I had the waist snaps as tight as they would go and it was just right. It does look a little bit bulky in between the legs but it really actually was a nice trim fitted.
I was very happy with this Sandy's fitted. It seemed to fit both of my boys well with out any issues. There will be plenty of room for my boys to grow into this diaper . You can adjust the side snaps so that the legs are looser or tighter. This is great for me because I have a skinny legged boy and a chunky legged boy. The snaps allow me to get the right fit for both of them. These hold a good amount of pee as well. I didn't have any leak issues with these due to not enough absorbency.

This fitted is actually a pretty good price for a bigger company. You can get the bleached or un-bleached Sandy's fitted for only $11.95. If you wanted to get a colored one the prices range from $12.95 up to $14.95 which are still good prices.
