All about Kristina

Welcome everyone to Cloth Diaper Addiction! I am Kristina, the 'owner' and creator of this blog and related social media outlets. I started up Cloth Diaper Addiction shortly after starting my cloth diaper journey. Here we are almost a year and a half later still continuing on with some great things coming your way. This week you will get to 'meet' the contributors of Cloth Diaper Addiction. These are some great mamas who all have different experiences with CD'ing, different sized babies, and have been cloth diapering for different amounts of time. I am very excited as we start up this new adventure on Cloth Diaper Addiction!
(my very first cloth diapers. I had 3 covers and 12 prefolds.)

Now a little about myself...

Like I said earlier, I started up CDA shortly after I started cloth diapering. I did it more to just share about my personal experiences with cloth diapering and now we are full of reviews, give-aways and special events and sharing all kinds of cloth diaper and other great natural parenting items.

I have been married for 5 years to my high school sweet heart. We have 2 fabulous and wild little boys, Elijah who just turned 3 and Ezekiel who is 1 1/2 years old. They are super busy little guys but so much fun.
We started cloth diapering 4 weeks after Ezekiel was born, we wanted to try and save some money so that I could stay at home with my boys rather than having to work. I really wanted to cloth diaper yet was scared like crazy to try it out. I am the kind of person who needs to touch and feel items and actually see them before buying so getting into cloth diapering was going to be tricky. Then I found a local mom who ran a cloth diaper store out of her front living room and on-line who lived less than 3 miles from me! How awesome. So over I went, got a little mini class about cloth diapers and made my big purchase. I decided to start out with the basics, prefolds and covers. I didn't want to put a bunch of money into CD's not knowing if I would like them or now. But obviously things went well. At that point we were only cloth diapering our newborn and our (at the time) 19 month old was still in sposies.

After getting the hang of cloth down and purchasing a few pocket diapers we decided to start to use cloth on our toddler. Having 2 in cloth was so much fun. I loved to put them in matching diapers! Plus it was saving us money not having to buy disposable diapers all the time. After that things just kept getting better and cloth diapering became an addiction almost. I love to try out new diapers, teach others about cloth, convert people to using cloth. I love answering questions people might have about cloth etc. I can go on and on about how great and incredible it really is.

So that is the basics of me and my experience of getting started in cloth. Thanks for following us! We appreciate it very much!
