bumGenius Organic AIO Review

bumGenuis AIO Organic

One of my favorite diapers for my toddler is the bumGenius Organic AIO diaper. It has got to be the trimmest diaper I have ever seen! Plus it can hold a lot of fluid. This diaper fits birth to potty trained. Which is nice because I sometimes will put it on my 3 month old! It comes in a variety of solid colors and has snaps, this does not come in applix.
I really like the snaps on this diaper, they are strong and easy to put on a wiggly little boy. I have tried other diapers where I have to do 8 snaps to get it on and it is just to frustrating for me. Also the rise snaps are really strong on this diaper as well. I have other diapers that when trying to snap the waist, the rise will come unsnapped and that just makes more issues for me . I have not had any issues with the rise snaps coming undone on these.

The inside of these diapers are developed with a neat concept. Instead of the AIO part being all sewn together in one big heaping pile of a material they are sewn so that there are separate layers that are only sewn together on the ends. There is also a neat wicking preventive, where the cotton absorbers don't go all the way to the end of the diaper. There is the PUL material about an inch down that keeps moisture from getting out.

I took a picture of three of the diapers side by side to show the three different rises. They go small on the left, Medium in the middle, and large on the right. There doesn't look like there is much of a difference in the picture between the small and medium but there is.

Then I took a picture of the diaper all opened up and pressed flat like it would be just before putting it on baby. When you have it on the small setting there is a little 'extra' material that you just simply fold towards the front. I really like how easy this diaper is to use.

The next pictures are of the same diaper on my two boys. The one on the left is of my 22 month old, and the one on the right is of my 3 month old. As you can tell in the pictures my two boys have very different builds. One is tall and skinny with not a roll on his body. The other, is a little chubby guy with lots of rolls. This diaper works great on both of them! Very rarely do we have a leak and that is usually because my toddler had way to much to drink and didn't get changed fast enough! This diaper also fits great under clothes. You can't even tell there is a fluffy but when you put on a pair of shorts because of how trim it is!

Here is what bumGenius has to say about their diaper:

Care Instructions
Your organic diapers will need to be prewashed 5-7 times in hot water with a bit of detergent in each load. Dry warm.
Regular wash routine: Wash cold with ¼ of the manufacturer’s recommended amount of additive free detergent. Wash hot with the same amount of detergent. Double rinse. Dry warm.

Designed by a mom and conscientiously manufactured in the USA or Egypt.
*US and International patents pending.

I would recommend this diaper to anyone who is truly looking for a diaper that will last birth to potty trained, simple, quick, great for dads, and babysitters. This diaper will provide everything they are looking for. The only thing I have a problem with for this diaper would be the drying time. I typically hang dry it all day in the sun and then will take it down, still slightly damp and run it for a final 15 minutes in the dryer just to get the dampness gone. Otherwise this is a great diaper.

Price is $24.95 for one diaper.

I'm really surprised at how trim this looks on your 3 month old, especially for a one size dipe. One of my main quests in CDing is finding a trim diaper. I have an 8 month old that is so tall and then you add a fluffy bum and she is in 12 month onesies and 18 month pants--trimness is very important to me.

These are like my dream diapers. I love them so much. My two little girls are like your little guys: my toddler is super tall and very slim, and my little 9 mo old is very chubby. They work so well, the only time I have leaks is when I'm using a different kind of diaper!
