Learning Curve: Lamaze Books

Reading is something that is very important to me and its also something I want my children to love and enjoy as well. Books are a natural fixture in our home. Walk into any room and you will find books upon books. Every night we read to our boys, during the day I hear :Mommy read this to me: quite often. And I can honestly say that I get really sick of reading Thomas over and over and over but there are some books that I Love ot read over and over to my boys. My older son (2 1/2) will brad a book out of his barn and sit down and read it out loud to himself (he makes up great stories). Needless to say I was pretty excited when Learning Curve asked if I would be interested in reviewing some of their Lamaze brand books YES! They send us a box full of books to enjoy. The farm sounds book has the cutest illustrations an my 2 1/2 year old will 'read' this to my 1 year old. He will point to an animal and say 'pig' and then say its sound 'oink'. Its really cute!
The Tale of Sir Prance-a-lot is probably our favorite book. I love that is has different textures, sounds (crinkles), fun colors, a cute little tale, and 3D images! Its a lot of fun.
Here is the waterfall with the dragon hiding behind it. My son always looks forward to this page so he can look for the dragon behind the water.
Here is a neat part of the book. The Dragons head is '3D' and pops off the page! Cool!
The Panda Pals book is all in black and white which is great for new babies who can't see color yet. Its a simple easy book for learning animal names as well. Plus it came with the really cute stuffed teddy bear.
I was very pleased with the Lamaze Books from Learning Curve. The stories were fun, the quality is great, reading is wonderful, my boys LOVE these books as well. If you want your children to become interested in reading these would be some great books to pique their interest.
