Sheepish Grins Washy Wafers Review & Giveaway

Hello all!

Justine from Fluff Envy was awesome enough to send me a package of Sheepish Grins Washy Wafers to review!  I was really excited to try these, seeing as how I told you about my epic fail making my own wipes solution.  I still hold to the fact that it's because I didn't know to change the solution on a regular basis.  Nonetheless, something that came pre-done and would make my life easier, was very exciting!

The Sheepish Grins Washy Wafers come in small wafers that dissolve quite quickly in a cup of hot water.  The package says 1-2 wafters per cup of water.  The first time I used them, I used one cup of water and one wafer.  I found that one cup was not quite enough for 12 wipes in the wipes warmer.  Less than 24 hours later, things weren't even really damp.  The next time I made them, I used 1 1/2 cups of water and 2 wafers and had much better success!

Because they are so small, the process of putting water into the microwave and then dissolving the wafer in that water, took mere minutes! (I did not put the wafer in the microwave as there have been several studies showing how microwaves can damage the structure of things...which is another discussion entirely.  Just thought I'd point out that I only heated the water.)

After the wafer is dissolved, you wait for it to cool and put into a spray bottle or pour it over your wipes in a wipes warmer.

This is the first time I've used the warmer and it really is helpful to have wet wipes ready to go when I need them.  Add the convenience  of a wipes solution that is pretty much ready to go and the process so easy it's now part of our daily routine!  I did try it in the spray bottle, and that definitely works too.  However, my little lady is not a fan of the solution being sprayed directly on her bottom. =)  If I'm going to use a solution like this (and I am!), it makes sense to me to keep wet wipes in the wipes warmer.  If you have a larger house than I do (very likely!), I could see the benefit of a spray bottle at a second changing location.  Small spray bottles can be purchased in lots of different places and would be a handy way to use cloth wipes while you're out and about.

Disclaimer: I received a set of Sheepish Grins Washy Wafers from Fluff Envy for review.  All opinions are my own and honest, you may have a different experience.

Health officials haven't revealed more details about the young man or whether he had an underlying health condition. The majority of serious illness and deaths have been seen in old, already sick men.
