Curwhibbles - Review

I had fanned Curwhibbles on Facebook awhile back as part of a giveaway and was always intrigued when photos of their custom diapers were posted. I was thrilled when Amanda agreed to a review for Cloth Diaper Addiction. I was able to choose my fabric and style of diaper (Pocket, AI2 or Cover) - WHAT tough decisions! The fabric selections are awesome and I'm always seeing new options pop up on their Facebook feed. I finally settled on a OS AI2 (One-Size All-In-2) and I was anything but disappointed! As you can see from the side shot, it is not the trimmest diaper, but, it is very absorbent and lasts so long.As I said, it is OS with 3 rise settings (fitting from approximately 10-35lbs), as well as cross over snaps. The inside is a coordinating anti-pill fleece, with a hidden layer of PUL.

The insert that is provided is amazing - You can fold it to fit just right for your little one. It is incredibly absorbent and is made out of organic bamboo fleece and topped with organic natural cotton velour. Squishy softness!
The insert snaps into the shell:I have said a couple of times now how absorbent this AI2 is. When I received it in the mail, I took a plunge...I didn't test it out during the day time first and then try it at night. No. I went crazy. I prepped it and immediately threw it on my guy for bed. Crazy, I tell you. 12 hours later (with no additional insert) I was changing a baby who had yet to leak out of his diaper! I have relied on this a few nights since (with additional soaking power) and have yet to be let down.

Since it worked so amazingly at night, I was not at all worried how it would handle a normal day - it works like a dream. I plan on stashing this aside for holiday traveling when changing may take a bit longer than normal.

How does it fit?

Great! So thankful for snaps these days - he is always grabbing at diapers and trying to get them off! I could probably go to the final rise setting (Caedmon is about 27lbs at almost 16 months).
No gappage. No leaks. No red marks are left either.
Pretty trim for an AI2.
And I just adore the fabric :-)
Curwhibbles OS AI2's range from $17 (no insert) to $20 (the bamboo/velour insert or a zorb/velour insert). Amanda informed me that they will be stocking on Dec. 19, so get ready to snag some awesome diapers!

Disclaimer: I received a OS AI2 for review. All opinion are honest and my own. You may have a different experience.
