Christmas Muffin Tin "Monday"

Hello all!

Whew!  What a whirlwind our 12 Days of Clothmas was!  We hope that you all enjoyed seeing some pretty neat products, entering the giveaways, and perhaps... even winning one. =)

While not cloth diaper related, I wanted to share a fun idea I saw over at Muffin Tin Monday last year.  For those not familiar, muffin tins are a really neat way to serve breakfast, lunch, snacks, desserts, etc. to our little ones.  It spices things up a bit.  While it's called "MTM", we find that ours happen on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or any day that I need to throw some fun into our routine. =)

Here's our basic lunch:

Here's the holiday twist:  presents!  I used scrap wrapping paper (who doesn't have some of that lying around?!) and cut out circles to cover the muffin tins.  I did end up cutting out circles from construction paper and gluing the wrapping paper to that as well.  Otherwise, the wrapping paper curled too much.

The reaction: Pure joy!

So give it a try!  Our "insides" were boring today - jazz it up with things to make snowmen, ice cream sundaes, or all red and green foods.  Enjoy eating lunch with your kiddos! =)

  4. There is a lot of fun and creative ideas, turning a simple meal into a present with the wrapped muffin tins is such a cute twist for the holidays. I love how it makes mealtime exciting for little ones—definitely trying this with red and green treats for an extra festive touch!
