OsO Cozy Fitted review and giveaway

There are so many different kinds of fitted diapers available. There are some pretty fancy ones and some pretty basic ones as well. Natural Family Supplies sent me some great products (5 items total) to review (and giveaway) for Under Cover Month. Be sure to check out their site for some great products! Nicole the owner is wonderful to work with and you can tell she cares about her customers and makes sure that everything works well for them. Plus shipping is always only $5.00!

For Fitteds week I was sent an OsoCozy unbleached fitted diaper. You can get the Oso fitted in 4 different sizes. I got the large which fits 18-25 pounds. This is made from 100% unbleached Indian cotton and has velcro closure.

Here is a picture of the Oso Fitted on top of the Wolly Pop fleece cover that Natural Family Supplies also sent me to review. This fitted is pretty simple but works great and is budget friendly. This is after the fitted was washed.

Here is a before washing picture...sorry out of order and crazy sideways! For some reason blogger likes to turn my pictures what ever way they want. Here is a picture showing the hook and loop on this diaper. It has one large strip across the front waist and then it has the velcro on the tabs with fold over laundry tabs.
The OsoCozy fitted is quite similar to a prefold in a sense because of the material and the way its made. If you look down the middle you can see 2 stitch seams. There are more layers of material in the middle than on the outside. It also has the straight ends like a prefold has. The differences are that it has velcro closure and is cut so that it has more of a diaper look to it rather than just a rectangle like a prefold.
The OsoCozy Fitted on my 10 month old fits great. There isn't a need for cross over tabs because this is a sized diaper. If you need the tabs to cross over you should probably go down a size. There is some elastic around the legs in this fitted.

It is nice and trim and you could easily put an extra insert or thin prefold in this to add absorbency to it. It does cut lower on the legs so when you put a cover on you need to make sure to check the thighs so that the fitted isn't sticking out. Otherwise you will have leak issues.

Overall this is a pretty nice fitted. I like how trim it is and it has a nice fit on both of my boys. The Velcro works great and the laundry tabs work fairly well. There are times when they come undone in the wash but really, how many laundry tabs actually stay stuck where they are supposed to when in the wash? This is a fitted so it does require a cover unless you want your little one to air out for a while. This is also a great option if you want to cloth diaper at a lower cost but you don't want to use fitted diapers. For one fitted is it only 8.50. This is definitely on the cheaper end of the spectrum when it comes to fitteds and it is a good quality one.

This review is of my own personal experiences and my own opinions are expressed. I was not paid to write this review. I was sent an OsoCozy fitted from Natural Family Supplies for review.

  1. Thank you. Just to let you know there's a little typo on your form. Natural is spelled wrong in the size section. Oops! - Trisha
